Welcome to the official Cops & Robbers Website

Remembering Gene Hudlow March 1951 - April 2009

Gene was an original member of Cops and Robbers Band who recently began singing with the band again after a brief hiatus. Gene was a great guy with a great sense of humor. Gene was always there for anyone needing his help. He will be sadly missed by all.

Gene owned and operated Windproof Roofing of Mount Airy. Growing up in Rockville, he mastered his father's passion for archery and became a state champion as a member of the Manahoic Bow Hunters, as well as an accomplished salom water skier with the Seneca Ski Bees.

His love of riding motorcycles took him on many adventures, one being part of the crew that built the ramp for Evel Knievel when he attempted to jump the Snake River in Idaho. He loved the sport of boxing and even got to manage/promote a professional boxer. He loved music, played the guitar and sang in the group Cops and Robbers.

Gene will be most remembered by his vast circle of friends and family--for his big generous heart, his ability to always find the good side in everyone, and his signature laugh that always made you smile. He lived his life to the fullest measure and to the beat of his own drum.
